Information for Participants
To join a session, follow the Zoom link sent to the email you provided during registration. There are different links for different sessions, so be sure you click the right one! You will enter a waiting room, and be let in once the session starts.
Once you are in the session meeting, make sure your microphone is muted. You will be able to use the chat function to submit questions and comments, and have the opportunity to unmute and ask questions during the Q&A period after each presentation.
English-Spanish interpreting will be available for the joint SAIL-WCCFL plenary address by Keren Rice (Friday April 9th 9-10:30am) as well as the SAIL-AILDI International Panel (Friday April 9th 4:30-6pm). To access the interpreters’ audio, you must be logged in to the Zoom session on your computer (this feature is not available on mobile devices). Click the globe icon in the Zoom menu and select your preferred language. Please find more information accessing intepretation here.
Information for Speakers
To join a session, follow the Zoom link sent to the email you provided during registration. There are different links for different sessions, so be sure you click the right one! You will enter a waiting room, and be let in immediately. SAIL volunteers will be available to help address any last-minute questions or technical issues.
Make sure your microphone is un-muted, and your chat window is open. Session chairs will notify you of the time you have left using the direct message feature in chat. You will have access to the screen sharing function to display slides and/or handouts if you have them.
After your presentation, session chairs will moderate the Q&A. Participants will have the opportunity to un-mute and ask questions directly or submit their questions in the chat.
